Dr. Saba Arif
Assistant Professor
Dr. Saba Arif is a distinguished scholar and dedicated educator in the field of
Mechanical and Energy Engineering. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Mechanical
Engineering from UET Taxila. Her passion for renewable energy led her to pursue an
MS in Energy Engineering, also at UET Taxila, under a fully funded program.
Dr. Arif further advanced her expertise with a PhD in Energy Engineering from Prince of
Songkla University, Thailand, funded by a prestigious SEAN Hub scholarship and an
additional faculty development grant from the ORIC department of Air University,
awarded due to her exceptional student feedback. Her academic excellence during her
first PhD earned her a nomination for a second PhD from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn
Malaysia (UTHM), under a fully funded MOU between the two universities.
Since 2017, Dr. Arif has been serving in Air University, Currently she is an Assistant
Professor and Manager post Graduate studies in the Department of Mechanical
Engineering at Air University. Her tenure in academia has been marked by numerous
achievements, including multiple awards for outstanding final year projects. She is also
a valued member of the editorial and review boards for several high-impact international
journals, contributing significantly to the field through her research and peer review.
