  • BE ME (Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering)

    Duration: 4 years

    Credit Hrs: 136

    Major Areas of Study:

    Keeping in view contemporary industry demands, DMAE has adopted the following main streams for its BE Mechanical Engineering program:

    Solid Mechanics and Design

    Thermofluids

    Manufacturing

    Eligibility:

    Applicants should have at least 60% marks in F.Sc. A-Level or equivalent:

    Must pass the entry test

    Qualify in the interview

  • MS Mechanical Engineering (Evening)

    specialization in Design Engineering/Fluid Power Engineering

    BE / B.Sc. Engineering (Aerospace/ Aeronautical /Mechatronics / Mechanical / Chemical) with minimum CGPA 2.00/4.00 or equivalent.

    NTS GAT(Gen) Cat-A / HEC HAT Cat-1 at least 50 score or GRE (general) with minimum of 151 score in Quantitative Reasoning, 145 in Verbal Reasoning, and 3.5/6.0 in analytical writing. This must be passed before the date of admission in MS Program.

    The candidates who qualify the Entrance Test will only be offered admission as per position in merit list.

    Following Formula would be apply for merit calculation:

    I. 50% Terminal Degree Weightage

    II. 50% Test Weightage

  • MS Aerospace Engineering (Evening)

    Specialization in Fluid Dynamics/Solid Mechanics

    BE/ B.Sc. Engineering (Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Mechatronics / Mechanical / Chemical) with minimum CGPA 2.00/4.00 or equivalent.

    NTS GAT(Gen) Cat-A / HEC HAT Cat-1 at least 50 score or GRE (general) with minimum of 151 score in Quantitative Reasoning, 145 in Verbal Reasoning, and 3.5/6.0 in analytical writing. This must be passed before the date of admission in MS Program.

  • PhD Mechanical Engineering (Evening)

    MS/Mphil degree in Mechanical Engineering earned from the HEC recognized university/institute, after completing 18 year of education, meeting 30 Credit Hours with a CGPA of at least 3.00 (on the scale of 4.00), or first division in the annual system.

    GRE Subject(International) or GAT Subject with at least 60% score in relevant discipline. In case of non-availability of GRE/GAT Subject due to any reason, the concerned department may arrange an equivalent test under the auspices of Air University. The applicant must score 70% in this test for becoming eligible for admission.

    Important Note: Students from diverse backgrounds can also apply for admission. However, such students may require undertaking the additional course to alleviate their weaknesses in programming related skillset. The roadmap of the additional courses will be prepared by the Guideance and Evaluation Committee(GEC) for each student during the first semester.
