Dr. Husan Ali
Assistant Professor
Dr. Husan Ali is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Air University, Aerospace & Aviation Campus, Kamra, where he also served as Chair Department (2020–2025). He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, China.
He has over 10 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership, with significant contributions to launching undergraduate and postgraduate programs, securing PEC OBE accreditation, and establishing modern laboratories and research collaborations with industry. He is also a certified Program Evaluator (PEV) by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
His research focuses on power electronics, renewable and smart energy systems, and the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning for modeling, control, and optimization of energy systems. He has authored 30+ SCI-indexed journal publications and 20+ peer-reviewed conference papers, and has led multiple funded research and industrial projects as Principal Investigator. He has supervised numerous BS, MS, and PhD students and is committed to developing industry-ready engineers through outcome-based education and applied research.
