Asif Mehmood

Lecturer

Asif Mehmood is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer and Software Engineering at Air University, AACK. He holds a Master’s degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Hongik University, South Korea. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering), Pakistan. Over the course of his professional career, he has served in various academic and industry roles, including Senior Research Associate, Lecturer, Assistant Manager, Software Engineer, and Lab Engineer. His research interests include cryptography—particularly lattice-based and symmetric-key cryptography—privacy-preserving computation, central bank digital currency (CBDC), self-sovereign identity, blockchain, and hardware security.
