Introduction

Office of Manager Academics at AUUAC addresses all issues relevant to quality of learning in all Departments in collaboration Chair Departments. This shall include matters relating to curricula, teaching methodologies and evaluation of teachers and students. Manager Academics has to ensure that AU Academic Regulations and its modifications are disseminated and implemented in true letter and spirit on campus level. Manager Academics also is responsible for coordinating policy revision proposals from Kamra Campus with main campus. This office suggests and helps implement programs that encourage critical thinking and enhances academic and research activities. Manager Academics supports the office of Director Campus in process of launch of new academic departments assisting in seeking approval from HEC and statutory bodies. Moreover, it also support Chair Departments in launch of new academic programs and zero/accreditation visits. The Office supports Academic Departments in preparing cases for approval from HEC and accreditation bodies. The Office of Manager Academics is also responsible for processing migration/transfer cases. On campus level, Office of Manager Academics is also responsible for ensuring timely planning and start of each Semester. Manager Academics supports the Chair Departments in process of faculty/workload allocation and visiting faculty hiring before the start of each semester.

Manager Academics works with the following Committees:

  • -Equivalence committee for the process of transfer/migration cases
  • -Secretary of Grievance Committee that review retake cases and other issues of students responsible holding meetings, recording decisions and disseminating the same among all concerned for implementation
  • -Secretary of Disciplinary Committee responsible for holding meetings, recording decisions and disseminating the same among all concerned for implementation
  • -Harassment Monitoring Officer of Harassment Committee responsible for holding meetings, recording decisions and disseminating the same among all concerned for implementation

Manager Academics also looks the following domains:

  • Supervises & Monitors the overall functioning of the Library and its staff.
  • Supervising the academic related tasks of Program Coordinator Office including timely preparation and entry of timetable, timely conduct of classes and timely entry of attendance & examination data in systems
  • Supervises & monitors the working of Automation & Network/IT department
  • Office of the Manager Academics also organizes Faculty Development Program in collaboration with Chair Departments and also responds to queries by HEC or any other organization on relevant areas of academics.
  • Preparation of Campus Activity Calendar

Eligibility Criteria for Migration to AU from other Universities

Ideally, student must apply 8 weeks before start of Spring/Fall semesters. Applicant should note the following:
